Pertarungan penuh tantangan dan real skill ada dikelas bergensi menuju jenjang sesungguhnya….Motogp adalah sasaran utama dari Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup ini.  Dengan motor Honda GPmono 250cc single silinder seperti dikelas Moto3 adalah penjenjangan jangka panjang yang tepat bagi para pembalap muda dari kawasan Asia Tenggara ini. Wilmar Hammar terpilih mewakili kelas bergengsi disentul tadi 11 Mei 2014 dengan berhasil menempati posisi ke lima saat finish dari 22 peserta dan memperoleh total point 11 hingga seri IRS tadi.

Seri di Indonesia dimenangkan Kaito Toba yang berjuang keras ditempel dalam barisan full rapat dari lap-lap awal hingga finish oleh para peserta lainnya, terutama rekan2 senegaranya 4 Japanese Rider dan 1 dari Indonesia – Ryo Mizuno yg berhasil finish ke 2,Yuta Date ke 3, Ayumu Sasakike 4 dan kelima dari Indonesia Wilman Hammar. Representing Indonesia throughout the 8-race series is 17-year-old Wilman Hammar, who was born in Pinrang and currently resides in Yogyakarta. After two years of racing in one-make series and Motoprix in Indonesia, he was selected to compete in the inaugural Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup season.

Wilman Hammar said: “It is an incredible experience to be part of the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup and to join in the unique spirit of the competition with fellow riders from Japan, China, Thailand and Malaysia. We get to put our skills to the test on Moto3 machinery, we have been given expert tuition by the championship organisers at every stage and there is a really good atmosphere in the paddock despite the intense competition. Shell Advance is dedicated to turning potential into performance, and I feel grateful to be developing as a competitor with every session on the track.” (source: motogp.com)
